the homerun

What is The Homerun?

The Homerun is in a sense the most basic of the four strategy lessons. The Homerun consists of a few things, retraces, and retests. Using the 200 EMA as home base, you will learn how to strike a Homerun using this strategy.

How do I use it?

On a bearish trend with the 200 EMA above the 50 EMA and price below the both of them, you will want to see price retrace back up to the 200 EMA, retest it, fail to break it, and then you look to enter a short position. After the home base (200 EMA) has been hit and price failed to break above it you can begin to look for short entries based on your entry signals. On a bullish trend with the 200 EMA below the 50 EMA and price above the both of them, you will want to see price retrace back down to the 200 EMA, retest it, fail to break it, and then you look to enter a long position. After the home base (200 EMA) has been it and price failed to break below it you can begin to look for long entries based on your entry signals.
